Submarine logs from the 1930s in National Archives?
The control room logs for Snapper  are available to view at Kew, having given them four days notice first.

I have seen what is online and it does not answer what I am looking for such as the officer who commissioned the boat, working up and the which flotilla it was allocated to. The activity post commissioning is important as the Abyssinian crisis was just unfolding and the boat was definitely in the Mediterranean the following April.
You may deduce from my name that I am well acquainted with submarine history.
