Another one of my posts which seems to have disappeared. >:(
-
Such a shame if the earlier posts have gone because i found this particularly interesting, as well as intriguing. So much so I tracked down several other articles about the food of grace from Boxley.

Thank you everyone. I did not read the title properly and thought it said road not rood and cat thought it was food. I need glasses lol.
-
I think more than glasses, I need to turn off my text predict. :D

grandarog. many thanks for that very interesting report of the mechanical Rood. Was Boxley Abby close to the Pilgrims Way, as Thurnham Abby was please?

Dave Smith:-
South of Rochester (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rochester,_Kent), the Pilgrims' Way travels through the villages of Burham (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burham),Boxley (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boxley),Detling (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detling) and continuing in a south-east direction to the north of the villages of Harrietsham (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harrietsham) and Lenham (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenham)

I have an older version of my original post that was on the old forum that I may re-up at some time - I'm waiting to see if Stuart has any luck recovering what has been lost. Some other lengthy posts which took some effort, including those in Theatres, Music and Concert Halls, have also gone.
