There is an article in Bygone Kent Volume 44, No 6 ,written by our member Mike Gunnill.
Brian Drury posted in dec 2022 (link to post https://kenthistoryforum.com/index.php?topic=806.0) and has also written about the Stay Behinds. I have the pdf attached below.
Both are very interesting and have much more info than the first posted by Johnfilmer.
