Title: Ightham Mote
Post by: Local Hiker on March 08, 2024, 02:01:47 PM
Here are some pictures and video from a visit to Ightham Mote on 7th March 2014.
I have not been in 30 years. So much more of the house is open and accessible.
A new Visitor Centre is under construction to be opened in September.

Did you mean 10 years ago or was that a typo for yesterday?

When the children were young, we alternated National Trust and English Heritage membership each year.

I would recommend it to any parent. Plenty of interesting things to do locally or on holiday, and always guaranteed a decent loo and café on the move.

My youngest left school 25 years ago. It will be at least 30 years. Time flies when you are having fun.
