Any ideas as to the make and age of the motorcycle?

I found this postcard addressed to Alfred Colyer, who was my mother's uncle. He and Will had worked together in Chatham Dockyard.
There is more on Alf elsewhere.

I tried to trace any relatives of Will, but it seems that he and his wife had no children. A shame as I would have loved to have passed the image on.
