Milton Regis Court Hall

CAT:
Fantastic view KeithG, not one I'd seen before. I understand the cottages either side of the Court hall were demolished immediately prior to 1959 with the KAS article being written in 1967 for inclusion in the 1968 edition of Arch. Cant. This means you pic must be pre 1959

From Google Earth 2018.

KeithG:
Here is another angle of the High Street and the Court House.

Not sure of the year?

CAT:
There is an article regards comparing this Court Hall and the former Canterbury Guild Hall by S.E. Rigold in Vol. 83 of the Kent Archaeological Society's Archaeological Cantiana 1968.

Interesting building to draw. I drew the end gable with a door & two window`s, in charcoal as in picture three. I also drew the railway bridge, hit by a flying bomb, on my walk from Rainham to Newington, on a very hot day a few years ago. All my drawings can be later, paintings.
