Title: Hextable Sign
Post by: grandarog on April 27, 2020, 12:14:53 PM
Hextable Village name dates back to Saxon time. There wasn't really a Village only a Farm and 3 cottages until Victorian times when building of housing for rich folks started .
It has grown to be the Village with the most 2 or more car households in the Country.
There are no Pubs in the Village due to old covenants but there are a few in the surrounding woodland outskirts.
The sign stands in the parkland adjoining the School and Community Centre.
