Thank you Stuart for getting us back on-line - much appreciated.  ;)

Looking back, I think we are waiting for Beachbum to add the next GTP.

I keep checking back in the hope it's back online.  I miss the old quiz.

Hi all,

Yes, I had to turn my Virus Checker off to get on the Group.  Stuart has said he's been very busy but he will sort it out.

Regards

John

It seems to be a security certificate issue again that may be stopping people logging in. Only Stuart can sort this out though.

Has KHF been off-air?  There seems to have been no posts for a month.  I have been on hols so must have missed something.

It is Beachbum, and although about a mile from my home, I have never been there either. My wife and her friends go quite a lot, probably for the coffee and cake 😁

Over to you…

We only refrain in hopes of attracting new blood to GTP.

Possibly an uphill struggle if lots of people refrain because they recognise it...

For those without such knowledge, it is north of the M20 and south of the M2. The grand house is late Victorian, which is not open, but the access is to the 10acre gardens, mainly Edwardian.

Sorry to have been AWOL today, a bit going on including putting away two tonne bags of logs that arrived, stacking them is like dry stone walling and very satisfying, but a little hard on the back!

If you follow the road from Lower Halstow to the A2, Breach Lane, I lived by the A2 junction from 1958 to 72. Eastwoods were still producing bricks and a bike ride down there was a regular entertainment, with a visit to the Post Office for supplies (sweets) a must-do part of the adventure.

Meantime, here is the next one. Not on Street View, but the photo is lifted from the website of the attraction itself.
