Title: Pill box UORN 9513, type 28A anti tank, Allington
Post by: Local Hiker on September 22, 2019, 10:06:06 PM
I found this pill box walking from Allington to Aylesford in 2011. I returned to take some photos later in the year.
One of the photos in the Flickr link below is a map location, just beside the M20 motorway where it crosses the Strood/Maidstone Railway and the River Medway.
The pill box is on the Medway Valley footpath about half a mile west of Allington Lock. (Not the box actually at the lock, but similar)

Some internet searching suggests that it is pill box UORN 9513, type 28A, anti tank.
