Just off Yokosuka Way near Twydall ? Will be interesting to learn what the guns were protecting from that position.
Yokosuka (横須賀市, Yokosuka-shi) is a city in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
As of February 2024, the city has a population of 373,797, and a population density of 3,708 inhabitants per square kilometre (9,600/sq mi).[1] The total area is 100.7 km2 (38.9 sq mi). Yokosuka is the 11th most populous city in the Greater Tokyo Area, and the 12th in the Kantō region. The city is host to United States Fleet Activities Yokosuka.

Okay John, a couple of clues. West of Sittingbourne. To the immediate South is a very large post-war council estate that followed a road naming convention that connected it with many other parts of Kent. And the road adjacent has a very International theme!!! :D

I went up and down that line on a 1940s map a couple of days ago but couldn't find it. Sittingbourne area?

Apologies Gents, a couple of days tied up with the Faversham Transport event, where we had our steam engine. But back now.
Yes that is the main London to Coast Main Line in the photo. Also the site has been on KHF, it may have been on the old forum.
