Nags Head Lane entrance from the High street in 1962 showing the corner of the Nags Head pub on the left and the hairdresser and cafe mentioned in another post by Lyn L on the right. The building housing the hairdresser and cafe has since been removed to allow for a much wider entrance. Here's a question I don't know the answer to - was the pub named after the lane, or the lane named after the pub?
