The ` Thetis ` submarine disaster in Liverpool Bay in 1939, is even more bizarre. See U Tube video.
The disaster would never have happened, if someone had NOT left the outer torpedo tube --- OPEN.
I knew about the painted torpedo peep hole, but not the outer door !
