In my day, it was just a place to go for a game of ---- Table tennis  - I dont even think there was a
record player there - soft drinks - & a place to meet - girls - Luton Road had our doctor surgery on it.
The Navy had a club on it - a nice gentle road - a good place to meet people - That was in  1946.

Got a gut feeling this was a rough place to be avoided and b)  there was a murder or stabbing there. This would be late, 1960s may be totally wrong and an addled memory

There was a youth club - run in Luton Road Chatham - after the war - it was over the then -
Co-operative shop - does anyone remember it - or was told about it ?
