I hang my head - in shame - Mike Gunnill - when I read 100 Today - I thought it was a JOKE.
Just re- read the three pages & a very belated Birthday Greeting - I remember you asked
`Can I call you ---- `- Now - I must go back to see what it was - ( that`s if I can find it )

Belated wishes for your 100th birthday, Mike! If my laptop wasn't prone to having hissy fits I would have posted birthday greetings on your big day!

And a belated happy birthday to you too, Keith! Apologies for missing the day, but you too can blame my temperamental hardware...

I hope you both had enjoyable days despite the lockdown.

Hodge, well I was wondering where you were! But thank you and I am grateful for your birthday wish. Although it isn't my birthday. It's a funny world.

If you can find him Hodge, Smiffy has all the drinks he was meant to share out.

Stay Safe

So the rumours that you look like a dried-up prune aren't true then?

So Mike, what was it like growing up in the 1920's.....?

It was tough Smiffy. But glad that since those days I have used this special face cream.

"Thx for your greetings. As a young lad I spent time in Yallourn, Victoria. Which part do you come from jimawilliams?"We live in SE Queensland and I grew up in Wainscott. We drove through Yallourn in 2018 on our way to Walhalla an historic gold mining town.
Seehttps://www.visitmelbourne.com/regions/gippsland/things-to-do/tours/walking-tours/walhalla-long-tunnel-extended-gold-mine
Some beautiful bush in that area, see image taken on our trip..  When you were in Australia the areas NE of Yallourn had small villages, maybe 4 or 5 buildings remaining from the gold mining era.  These have since been destroyed by both bush fire and termites; the bush has regrown leaving very little evidence of the industry.Congratulations once again for reaching your centenary milestone.

I remember Walhalla very well. It was a long time ago I was there in fact the man in charge of the trip was Captain Cook.  Regards from the old country, I drove through Wainscott yesterday, the bypass makes it a better place traffic wise.

Thx for the greetings. Stay safe

Mike

A couple I missed on this thread yesterday .
As for Birthday monitor Stuart  absolutely no question I don't mind the job at all  ;D  I will have to put the specs on and be more vigilant . They always used to pop up on screen .
