Title: Another Connections Puzzle
Post by: stuartwaters on December 03, 2022, 08:34:53 AM
Here's a little something to get the detectives amongst the membership working.

Can someone connect the town known in Irish Gaelic as Ard Mic Nasca with the cathedral at Rochester?

It's fairly simple and shouldn't take long.....

All I can think is maybe "Hollywood" Bowling alley at Rochester might be the connection. :)
I am sure it is more complicated than that.

I can't see the Hollywood connection with the cathedral.

JW, the place is called Holywood, not Hollywood.

It is the birthplace of an actor.

The actor played a major role in a popular historical drama shown on the History Channel. One of the characters descendants played a big role in the Cathedral's history.

Would the "popular historical drama" be Ironclad?

No, it was a TV drama series originally aired on the History Channel. It was criticized for compressing about 200 years of mainly real events into about 30 years but is otherwise pretty accurate historically.
