From the halls of the Gauge O Guild, the south pier and lighthouse.

Everything on the layout is scratch built from wood, card or plastic.  The two locos and saloon carriage are built from kits, hand painted by myself, the cranes are powered and everything has a light, the lighthouse lantern has a double flash every minute using rotating frensel lenses. Fishing boat Happy Return is built from card, wood and kebab sticks, functional working rigging.

I hope we get the chance to see the finished project.  There used to be a model railway exhibition at the Leas Cliff Hall, Folkestone, but I've not seen one advertised this year.
