On a programme just recently - it stated the Germans in War 11 - were building a super gun - with a shell that could reach London.
A rumour started just after the war - that shell fragments were found in the Maidstone area - that could not be explained.
Can any Maidstone people throw any light on this rumour ? ( It could have been a gas explosion - that explained it )
