My wife and I went aboard when the boat was at Folkestone. We were in the Foreward Torpedo Room when my brother called and asked where I was. There was a brief silence on the line when I replied "On a Russian submarine".

Nothing to do with the Russian sub, but late hubby thought he'd try for subs ( RN ) and even though they are such small spaces on board , he was too short and couldn't reach what he should have been able to. He stayed on Frigates and was a Sonar Operator.
